D-Day "The Mighty Endeavor"
May 30, 2008

The Virginia War Memorial is pleased to announce the 3rd Annual “D-Day – The Mighty Endeavor” Seminar for selected high school juniors in Central Virginia on Friday, May 30, 2008. We are pleased to have Brigadier General Jack Mountcastle with us as our guest speaker. General Mountcastle previously served as the Chief of Army Military History in Washington.

Listed on the Registration Form included with this mailing is a schedule of events. We feel that the experience of one-on-one conversations with our heroic survivors will provide new insights and a greater appreciation for the sacrifices these men and women endured to guarantee our freedom today. A highlight of the afternoon will be a donation from The National D-Day Memorial to one lucky student.

Please join us by selecting two deserving juniors and a teacher to participate in our D-Day Seminar. Registration Form should be completed and returned no later than Friday, May 16, 2008.
