The Virginia War Memorial is governed by a Board of Trustees which is comprised of five members of the Virginia House of Delegates, three members of the Senate of Virginia, the Secretary of Administration who serves ex-officio, and ten members appointed by the Governor.

The Virginia War Memorial is seeking military memorabilia for display in the Memorial's planned Education Center. Flags, uniforms, battlefield artifacts, medals, pictures, newspapers, maps and other items are needed. Memorabilia may be donated or placed on permanent loan to the Memorial. As a 501 (c)(3) organization, donations to the Memorial are tax deductible.Untitled103a
